Success by Collaboration And Synergy

It occurred to me last night (sometime in April 08) that the 6th Stage of Organized Living is not the narrow category of 'Influence' per se… as I had thought before.

Influence is actually a subset of the broader value, and something that ties in so much better with the progression of the previous 5 Stages of Organized Living.

The highest value of the Stage 6 dynamic seems to be Synergy.

That of team collaboration, influence, and leverage – to make achievements beyond what we are each capable of alone.

I like the word Synergy as the word to capture the essence of this 6th Stage of Organized Living.

The logic is quite simple and obvious…

1st we need the ability to organize. Organize our thoughts, activities, desires, responsibilities, etc.

Once we have the basic skill set of how to do that (revealed as the 7 Steps of Organizing), we can then shift up a gear to stage 2 – identifying and choosing what we are going to do in our life with the skill set of organizing. That's covered in the Life Direction Clarifier.

Then there is a combination of that life direction clarity and your skill of organizing, and you move to actuall organize your entire life with Folderarchy in the 3rd stage of organized living.

The next obstacle you will come across is your own mind. Your discipline. Your effort. Your awareness. Etc. And that therefore becomes Stage 5 of Organized Living – Mind Control and the Success-Matrix.

So now, finally, you have covered all basis of Internal Processing (effecting change in your own tightly controlled personal world).

Now our considerations turn further a field, into the wider world of organized living. Namely, other people. And so the 6th Stage of Organized Living emerges as Synergy… involving the leveraged gained by collaboration and influence.

And there we have it. So with that, the saga of Organized Living World expands into the realm of synergy under the main category Career Development…
